Somehow American Idol has found the strength to go on now that Paula is no longer with the show, and season 9 has officially started! I was convinced no one could fill Paula's "nice" shoes, but when I heard Ellen DeGeneres would be the new judge, I was pretty excited. I love Ellen. Unfortunately, Ellen had pneumonia and so for the first little while they invited several guest judges to help with the show. For the first night, Victoria Beckham made an appearance. ... and all I could think the whole time was that she totally looks like... 
Falcor from the Never Ending Story! Seriously. A skeletal Falcor. Someone needs to get her a cheeseburger before she passes out or gets blown away. But aside from that, Mrs. Beckham was so cute to have on the show, she really knows her stuff and was considerate to the contestants. Unlike Kara DeWhoIsSheAndWhyIsSheAJudgeAgain. That chic drives me nuts.Anyway, super excited the new season is up and going! I've already found a few people I'm cheering for and love, go Vanessa Wolfe! Enjoy your aeroplane ride! And I can't wait to see what else the season brings.... anyone else spending Tuesday and Wednesday nights with a DVR?

Hehe! I am a sucker for SYTYCD. Haven't gotten into American Idol ever really except on the finale shows. If we lived closer together (maybe you guys should move to UT) then we could be TV buddies:)
