I am not sure when my baby decided to grow up, but here he is. Eight months going on two. He decided last month he'd had it with sitting still and started to crawl. Since then he's been a regular terror. He loves to play in the bathroom and make the scale lights turn on. He loves, LOVES to dump the dog's food and water all over.

He's recently discovered the kitchen drawers and cupboards and has pulled E V E R Y T H I N G out of them. Yesterday he was standing up on the dresser pulling my socks out of the drawer. As he would toss each one out Chunky would catch it and give it a good shake. They're starting to be really good friends. It surprised Chunky the day Tristan saw him across the room and started to chase him. He had this look on his face like, "What the... this thing moves?!"

Twistan has no business growing up so fast. Seriously. Who does he think he is!? I was hoping he'd stay little forever but apparently he's got other plans.

He sleeps about ten hours at night-needs to eat a little and goes back to bed a couple more. He has good nights and nights he's lucky to see dawn, but thankfully those seem to be tapering off. Twistan likes to give fives, and waves, and is just starting to pick his nose. Even though he is still a baby Jeff, I think he's starting to look a little more like me, no? Maybe a little in the eyes? I've had a couple people tell me that lately and I almost kissed them.
Regardless, whether he looks like me, Jeff or a monkey, we love this little boy. He brings out the best-I never knew I could have so much patience or love for something. He is such a pumpkin!
PS
Don't download the new IE 9... it sucks! There are lot of features it is missing that I liked on the old IE and it totally screws with a lot of sites! Like Blogger-my publish button didn't work for days, and now half of my other buttons don't work. Which is why I am typing in the stupid center alignment! Ugh! Save yourself a headache and stay with the old one.
